On October 28, 2008 Kevin participated in a News Conference held by the Ontario Health Coalition at Queen's Park related to the elimination of elected hospital boards. Click here for the original Media Advisory.
In July 2008 Kevin began writing a weekly political column in the Alliston Herald.
On June 6, 2008 Kevin was interviewed on The National on behalf of Dolores Claman. In the course of the interview Kevin advised that the CBC had declined Ms Claman's request to continue negotiations the following Monday (June 9, 2008) related the CBC's ongoing use of the Hockey Theme. Shortly after Kevin's taped interview the CBC announced a national contest to replace the theme.
Throughout 2007 Kevin has been actively involved as a member of the Concerned Citizen's Committee formed to effect significant changes to the management and operations of Alliston's Stevenson Memorial Hospital.
On Saturday August 27, 2005 Kevin appeared as a guest panelist on a rebroadcast of the television program Health on the Line hosted by Avery Haines on the Life Network where he discussed medical malpractice.
On August 6, 2005 Kevin was quoted in an article in the Globe and Mail related to the ten year anniversary of the TTC subway disaster.
On August 15, 2005 New Tecumseth Free Press Online referred to Kevin's involvement in the operation of the Carmen Vanderwater Medical Centre (named in honour of his late sister) in Alliston, Ontario.
In May 2005 Kevin was retained by the individual members of New Tecumseth Town Council to serve a notice of libel.
On November 17, 2004 Kevin was interviewed by Leslie Roberts as part of the Global Television 6:00 p.m. news broadcast related to the HockeyTheme litigation.
In March, 2004 Kevin appeared as a guest panelist on the program Medical Hotseat on the Discovery Health Network with regard to the issue of whether medical professionals ought to be required to disclose if they are HIV positive.
In 2003, Kevin was quoted in the national print media with respect to a motion brought on behalf of two individuals including Lisa MacLeod - recently elected as an Ontario Member of Provincial Parliament (who were, at the time, responsible for the operation of a website known as "Blue Draft") in an effort to obtain intervenor status in the legal proceeding commenced by David Orchard et al against Peter MacKay related to the merger of the Progressive Conservative Party of Canada with the Canadian Alliance Party.
In 2003, Kevin appeared as a guest panelist on the program Medical Hotseat aired on the Discovery Health Network on the topic of "Medical Error".
In 2002 Kevin was quoted in an article published in a medical journal related to whether physicians should be obligated to disclose past instances of medical malpractice.

On January 9, 2001 Kevin was interviewed and quoted extensively by the national television and print media related to the settlement of Allanah Myles' libel action against the National Post.
On January 13, 1998 Kevin was quoted extensively in the national print media related to the action commenced by members of the music group Parachute Club against McCain Foods and EMI Music Publishing.
In 1997 Kevin was interviewed by CHCH television in relation to the action commenced by Stephen Giles against the provincial government following the 1995 riot outside the Ontario Provincial Parliament.
